Our Gourmet Chef
Wild Alaskan salmon, fresh seafood and classic comfort
foods await you at Sitka Point Lodge. Our distinctive meals
are prepared by Chef Darick Capistran who enjoys serving
seafood as much as he likes catching it. Originally from
North Dakota, Darick first began cooking down-home, prairie
inspired cuisine including pan fish, elk, bison and venison.
European travels and love for the Pacific Northwest have
also inspired many of his creations. Many of our clients
have been known to leave Sitka Point Lodge with a few borrowed
tricks for preparing their own catch upon returning home.
